This is a great opportunity for a Residential Network Overhead Technician to join a well-established, local telecommunications company.

Some of the main duties and responsibilities include:

• To install, test, commission and maintain:
  • External and internal wiring at customers’ premises
  • ISDN2, analogue copper, and DSL services
• To assist other customer engineering colleagues/teams as required
• To undertake climbing duties as required
• Minor jointing of copper cable pairs and associated reclosures
• Familiarity with Subscriber Apparatus Line Test (SALT) and Porta
• To be competent in the use of mobile devices (tablets) as used by technicians in the course of their duties
