This is a great opportunity for a HR Advisor to join one of the largest employers in Guernsey.

 

Some of the main responsibilities of this role include:

  • To support the delivery of a professional human resource service, ensuring that management adopt good HR practice and work within policy guidelines
  • To provide professional advice and guidance to managers and senior staff in relation to a range of HR issues
  • Work alongside managers to ensure discipline, grievance, capability and sickness issues are effectively managed
  • To support managers in the recruitment, re-deployment, secondment and promotion of staff, including identification of succession planning opportunities
  • To monitor sickness and absence levels and trends to identify any changes or potential problems assisting line managers to take pro-active steps to remedy the situation
