Alexander Daniels Offshore is working with a business based in Guernsey to recruit a Compliance Assistant.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Ensure staff are assisted with documentation requirements
  • Timely completion of due diligence procedures
  • Assist with ongoing development of procedures and internal controls
  • Help maintain client database
  • Help maintain staff training records
  • Assist in the preparation of reports to the client acceptance committee
  • Carry out periodic file reviews and other compliance monitoring
  • Assist with client regulatory projects
  • Assist the MLCO / MLRO with ad-hoc projects

 

Requirements:

 

  • Strong academic background with a minimum of two years’ experience in a similar role
  • Good working knowledge of compliance and local regulatory rules, regulations and laws
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work with confidential information
  • Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
  • Professional attitude
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to be resourceful and proactive
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritise work
