Alexander Daniels Offshore is working with a business based in Guernsey to recruit an Assistant Client Relationship manager.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Assisting with all aspects of the administration of funds, management companies and associated fund structures
  • Support company secretarial matters including the preparation of agendas, collation and distribution of board packs, obtaining directors availability
  • Undertaking routine office and clerical tasks where necessary
  • To process payments through online banking system
  • To undertake bookkeeping and accounting of the Company’s administered / managed entities within prescribed deadlines, and to assist with the year-end audit process / auditor queries
  • To respond to investor and client queries in a timely manner, maintain investor records and assist with the compiling of and despatch of investor related reports and other communications
  • To support corporate governance process, including preparation of management information, risk monitoring activities, completion of periodic / ad hoc reporting and other reviews as required from time to time
  • To keep sufficient records which demonstrate how and what transactions have arisen in relation to it’s administered / managed business including timely update of systems and controls including its company secretarial system (Blueprint OneWorld), book keeping system (Navision) and; Investor Portal
  • To understand and comply with the Company’s compliance framework as set out in the Compliance Manual at all times including (but not limited to) the requirement to make appropriate reports to the Compliance Officer in relation to conflicts of interest, personal dealing, breaches, errors, claims and complaints and to keep up to date with changes to regulatory policies and procedures
  • To understand and comply with the Company’s Data Protection Policy and supporting privacy
    framework in order to protect and safeguard the confidentiality of personal data, including
    the obligation to report breaches
  • To understand and comply with the Company’s AML/CFT framework as set out in the AML/CFT
    Manual at all times including compliance with personal statutory obligations under the AML/
    CFT regulations and active participation in preventing the services of the Company from being
    used for money laundering, terrorist financing or any other financial crime and report any
    suspicious activity to the MLRO or Nominated Officer
  • Any other duties or responsibilities as required by the Managing Director from time to time.

 

Skills and Experience:

 

  • Sound educational background at least 5 GCSE’s or equivalent at C grade or above (including
    Maths and English)
  • To hold or be working towards the Certificate in Offshore Fund Administration; ICSA, ACCA,
    CAAT or any other relevant professional qualification
  • Good written and verbal communication skills, organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Basic understanding of Guernsey’s AML/CFT regulations and the statutory obligations of the
    Company and its employees in respect of reporting suspicions of money laundering
  • Basic understanding of the EU General Data Protection Regulation and Data Protection
    (Bailiwick of Guernsey) Law, 2017
  • Basic understanding of applicable GFSC Rules
  • A flexible approach to work and good time management skills
  • Good team player with a commitment to deliver outstanding service within the office; and
  • Good MS Office skills (Word, Excel).
