We had a chat with Sarah to find out what makes her tick.
Q: What is your favourite way to start the day?
Waking up with a fresh coffee.
Q: When we can travel again, where would your next holiday destination be?
To visit my parents and family in the UK.
Q: What is your favourite beverage on a hot summer’s day?
Pimm’s.
Q: Who do you admire and why?
In the current climate – Dr Brink – she’s an amazing and inspiring lady.
Q: What is your proudest achievement?
Being promoted to Director at Alexander Daniels.
Q: What is your favourite way to unwind?
Sitting on Cobo beach with a beer in hand.
Q: When people come to you for help, what do they usually want help with?
Apart from the obvious, looking for a new position, it can be anything from Career advice, or wanting to map out their career.
Q: What is the best gift you have ever received?
£250 cash, and I only had 1 hour to spend it in, it had to be purchases from local shops – however the challenge was set 30 minutes before I had to do school pick up, so only have 30 minutes to spend it… (but I achieved it!)
Q: Aside from necessities, what one thing could you not go a day without?
Coffee.
Q: What would you do if you won the lottery?
Buy a boat so we can sail away to the neighbouring Islands.
Q: How did you stay motivated during lockdown?
Talking to the team, our clients and candidates – to ensure everyone was ok with the current climate – organising Zoom Team quizzes, and lots of face-time chats with friends and family.
Q: What is your claim to fame?
I met the Neighbours cast when I was travelling in Australia.
Q: If you had a warning label, what would yours say?
Beware – she knows how to party.
Q: What hobby would you get into if time and money were not an issue?
Professional dancer – I love dancing!
Q: If you could move to any city, which would it be?
Sydney.
Q: What is your favourite thing about working at Alexander Daniels?
I love meeting and working with people, and it’s so rewarding – it’s not saving lives – but changes lives for people. And not to mention – getting together with the rest of the business.
Q: What would you like to accomplish in the next 5 years?
To ensure, we are continuing to add value in everything we do – and to give support to our community.
