20 May Get to know Hannah…
We had a chat with Hannah to find out what makes her tick.
Q: What is your favourite way to start the day?
A short walk and a big cup of tea in bed!
Q: When we can travel again, where would your next holiday destination be?
Skiing in Bulgaria. We were meant to be going this March but sadly it will have to wait till next year.
Q: What is your favourite beverage on a hot summer’s day?
A large glass of white wine.
Q: What is your proudest achievement?
Being promoted to Senior Consultant was really exciting also buying a house… it was stressful but worth every minute of it!
Q: What is your favourite way to unwind?
Either a super chilled cocktail night out or a comfy night in on the sofa with a big bar of chocolate and a glass of wine.
Q: Have you ever had a nickname, if so, what is it and why?
Well Sarah used to call me Hannah Montana but other than that it’s just Han!
Q: Aside from necessities, what one thing could you not go a day without?
I think it would have to be tea, I’d have a meltdown if I went a day without!
When I go on holiday, I even take my own tea bags and mylong-lasting milk sachets in case there are no tea facilities, so I will always be able to have a cup of tea wherever I go!
Q: List two pet peeves of yours.
Whistling really irritates me, and pigeons hooting at the window at the office does my head in!
Q: What would you do if you won the lottery?
Book lots of long lunches, treat friends and family, get some holidays in the diary and maybe find a house with a driveway!
Q: How did you stay motivated during lockdown?
Regular team calls, even just a team chat made me feel a lot less isolated.
Q: What is your claim to fame?
I went to Buckingham palace for a garden party, walked the grounds of the palace and ate a Battenburg. When I was at sixth form, I volunteered at the Red Cross, my name went in the ballot for their annual summer party and I was lucky enough to get picked! People from all over the UK attended for afternoon tea. I definitely saw Prince Charles at the window, and we were entertained by some cultural dancing, sadly we weren’t allowed to take pictures!
Q: If you had a warning label, what would yours say?
‘ANNOYING – Talks at you’
Q: If you could move to any city, which would it be?
Either London or Cardiff. Cardiff is super clean, not too noisy and everyone is super friendly – oh and it has nice bars & restaurants! Very important. London does have everything though!
Q: What is your favourite thing about working at Alexander Daniels?
The culture. Also being able to make a difference and see peoples working lives change for the better. It’s very rewarding!
Q: What are three interesting facts about you?
1. I am a qualified Swedish masseuse
2. I am half Scottish
3. My favourite colour is beige
