We had a chat with Alex to find out what makes her tick.

Q: What is your favourite way to start the day?
A glass of lemon water.

Q: When we can travel again, where would your next holiday destination be?
To the Bahamas to swim with the pigs!

Q: What is your favourite beverage on a hot summer’s day?
Either vodka, lime and soda, a mojito or aperol spritz!

Q: What is your proudest achievement?
Moving to London for three years.

Q: What is your favourite way to unwind?
Playing Call of Duty on the Xbox or going to the gym.

Q: When people come to you for help, what do they usually want help with?
Relationship advice!

Q: Have you ever had a nickname, if so, what is it and why?
Wally – because my surname is Wallace and I’m a bit of a wally!

Q: What is the best gift you have ever received?
My car – I got it for my 21st from my parents!

Q: Aside from necessities, what one thing could you not go a day without?
Lip balm!

Q: List two pet peeves of yours.
1. Untidiness
2. Ignorance

Q: What would you do if you won the lottery?
I would make a massive investment and buy a house.

Q: How did you stay motivated during lockdown?
I stuck to my routine, did online gym classes and kept active.

Q: What is your claim to fame?
My dad’s distant cousin is the guitarist in Iron Maiden!

Q: If you had a warning label, what would yours say?
Approach with caution.

Q: What hobby would you get into if time and money were not an issue?
Golf – which I am currently taking lessons in!

Q: If you could move to any city, which would it be?
After living in London I realised cities aren’t really my thing, I’m happy in Guernsey.

Q: What is your favourite thing about working at Alexander Daniels?
The culture and the autonomy to run your own desk!

Q: What would you like to accomplish in the next 5 years?
I’d like to buy a house and a new car.

Q: What are three interesting facts about you?
1.  I’m grade seven on the flute
2.  I make everyone down their drinks on a night out
