Alexander Daniels Offshore has been on a huge growth trajectory since inception only 5 years ago. With equal measures of hard work, determination and fun, our business is now a reputable, successful recruitment brand across the Channel Islands. Renowned for delivering a first-class recruitment service to our much valued clients and candidates, we are however, only just beginning our journey.
AD Offshore began operating under the skilled & talented duo Sarah Elliott and Steve Hubert with the full support and backing from Industry expert Andy Partlow. It began with a tiny 2 desk office in Guernsey, with just a handful of clients and candidates. Fast forward 5 years and they are both now company Directors and along the way they’ve welcomed 14 team members and operate from state of the art and centrally located offices in both Guernsey and Jersey.
Offshore Director Andy Partlow says;
“It’s impossible to mention all of the successes we have achieved in the past 5 years as a business but what I can say is that Steve and Sarah are of paramount importance to the business and have played an integral part in our successes and creating our culture.
To build such a successful culture is no mean feat and requires enormous amounts of drive and commitment. I have to pinch myself at times, to achieve what we have achieved with 2 best friends is really fairy tale stuff and further, to have such close working relationships with the entire team is very rare and highly enjoyable, all of which are close friends. We have had a lot of fun along the way and long may that continue!
Put simply we couldn’t be where we are now without Steve and Sarah and I am extremely grateful to them both for their friendship, hard work and commitment and I am very excited about the next 5 years.”
Guernsey Director Sarah Elliott celebrates;
“WOW, Five years! It only seems like yesterday that I was in the Birmingham office attending my induction/training. Then arriving back in Guernsey – rolling out a brand-new business with my best friend, and wanting to make my Director, MD and Chairman proud of the opportunity they had given me.
My journey has been unreal, a promotion from consultant to Director and now leading the Guernsey Team (which I would like to add, is the best team possible). We work hard, play hard, and have lots of fun along the way. We love our jobs, and we make dreams come true.

Jersey Director Steve Hubert adds…
“I can quite honestly say these last five years have been the most rewarding in so many ways. Leaving a well-paid steady job to start out on a new business venture was a daunting thought initially but getting to do it with my best friends has been amazing.
We have now built a pan-island business and have the best team of likeminded people, in both Guernsey and Jersey and I am so proud of the achievements of all. We have worked incredibly hard together, learned so much together, travelled together and most of all had lots and lots of fun together.
We really are, as we call ourselves, the AD Family! It’s been an incredible journey so far and I look forward to the next five years!”
