Alexander Daniels Offshore is working with a business based in Jersey to recruit an HR Assistant.

Repsonsibilities:

  • Preparing new joiner documentation including immigration paperwork
  • Managing all on-boarding activities
  • Instructing our service provider to conduct background checks for new joiners
  • Timely notification of new joiners to key internal stakeholders
  • Running inductions
  • Organising work experience placements in Jersey for students
  • Assist with the organisation of recruitment events
  • Act as the point of contact for ‘first line’ manager and employee queries, respond to routine enquiries and escalate appropriately
  • Independently execute the leaver processes and conduct exit interviews
  • Work with finance to provide payroll data and resolve queries
  • Ensure that all digital personnel files are maintained and compliant with the requirements of local data protection law
  • Benefits administration
  • Record sickness and conduct return to work interviews

 Skills and Experience:

  • You will be a highly effective HR Assistant/Officer/Adviser with strong generalist HR experience and will ideally be part CIPD qualified or working towards this.

Personal Attributes:

  • You will be able to demonstrate the ability to deliver excellent customer service both in person and over the telephone dealing with employee queries and candidate enquiries promptly and efficiently
  • Excellent organisation and administration skills with an eye for detail and commitment to accuracy
